Soccer Recap: Gunnison Valley Takes a Loss

Gunnison Valley fought the good fight in their overtime match against South Sevier on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. Gunnison Valley were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced South Sevier earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Gunnison Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for South Sevier, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Gunnison Valley didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Parowan on the 10th. As for South Sevier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Beaver on the 11th.
