Baseball Recap: Binghamton Takes a Loss

Johnson City hit Binghamton with a four-run seventh inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 5-3. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Bonham Vymislicky made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Binghamton's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Johnson City, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

While Binghamton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
