Soccer Recap: Four Straight Home Wins for Jeffersonville

Jeffersonville kept a clean sheet against Franklin Community on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Grizzly Cubs 1-0. While Jeffersonville didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ariel Andres-Sandoval, who's now up to two this season.

Jeffersonville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four matches. As for Franklin Community, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Jeffersonville will head out on the road to square off against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Jeffersonville their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Franklin Community, they will face off against Perry Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
