Farmersville had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vega Longhorns.

Farmersville's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Vega, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, Farmersville and Vega will both be playing Hereford the next time they take the court. The Farmers will host the Whitefaces at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, while the Longhorns will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
