Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic vs. Ar-We-Va

The Atlantic Trojans will face off against the Ar-We-Va Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Atlantic and 11 for Ar-We-Va.

Atlantic fell victim to Denison-Schleswig and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Monarchs, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, Ar-We-Va also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 11-0 to North Polk on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Ar-We-Va can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 190th, while North Polk are ranked 17th).

Ar-We-Va's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Atlantic, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-3.
