 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the St. John's Cadets had no problem doing just that  on Sunday. They skirted past the Quakers  42-39. The  win was nothing new for St. John's as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
 St. John's got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kyndal Walker out in front who  scored 18 points. Walker is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's  now  scored 15 or more in the last five games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Morgan Stewart, who  scored 12 points along with five  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Sidwell Friends still got an impressive performance from   Zania Socka, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and ten  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Kendall Dudley, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Sidwell Friends  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. John's only pulled down five  offensive rebounds.
 St. John's is  on a roll lately: they've  won 15 of their last 16 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record  this season. As for Sidwell Friends, their loss dropped their record down to 25-6.
 St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sidwell Friends also has no future games currently scheduled.
