Softball Recap: White Station Comes Up Short

If White Station was feeling good fresh off their 18-3 takedown of Craigmont on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Memphis East Mustangs on Wednesday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

White Station got a massive performance out of Seaniya Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Catherine Knott-Craig, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs.

White Station's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Memphis East, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Station will host Southwind at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memphis East, they will welcome Douglass on Monday.
