Football Recap: Hillman Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The matchup between Hillman and Heston Academy on Friday hardly resembled the 26-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Tigers came up short against the Patriots, falling 47-26. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hillman still got an impressive performance from Evan Crane, who rushed for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also picked up 117 receiving yards and one score. Crane's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. Eli Schulze helped out on the ground, rushing for 116 yards.

Hillman's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Heston Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hillman will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rogers City at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Heston Academy, they will challenge Whittemore-Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
