Baseball Recap: Holy Family Tigers vs. Centaurus Warriors

Holy Family stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. Everything went their way against the Centaurus Warriors as the Holy Family Tigers made off with a 15-3 win. Winning may never get old, but Holy Family sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Xavier Vega was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Sandoval, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

On Centaurus' side, Zak White was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. White has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. White was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple and a run.

White wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Glenn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
