Kayleigh Sale put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March of 2024 on Wednesday. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she gave up only three walks, the fewest she's had since back in March of 2024.

Looking ahead, Sale and North Mecklenburg will challenge Ashbrook at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. North Mecklenburg closed last season having dominated at home and they will enter the contest having won three straight home games dating back to last season.
