Football Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Berea last Thursday, Jackson County came back down to earth. The Generals had to suffer through a 51-6 loss at the hands of the West Carter Comets.

Jackson County's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for West Carter, they moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jackson County is set to take on their familiar foe Morgan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Carter will square off against rival Breathitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
