Basketball Recap: Saginaw United Victorious

On Saturday, Saginaw United didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the East Kentwood Falcons, but they still walked away with a 47-43 win. The 47-point effort marked Saginaw United's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory made it two in a row for Saginaw United and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for East Kentwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.

Saginaw United will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for East Kentwood, they will head out on the road to square off against Grand Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Grand Haven knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully East Kentwood likes a good challenge.
