Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimball). They blew past the Tennyson Lancers, posting a 75-47 win. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lance Clunie, who posted 23 points. Clunie's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. James Walker was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 19 boards.
The victory made it two in a row for Kimball and bumps their season record up to 4-6. As for Tennyson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Kimball Jaguars face off against the Modesto Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Tennyson will take on Freedom in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
