Baseball Recap: Westwood Panthers vs. Sebastian River Sharks

After flying high against Lake Worth Christian last Friday, Westwood came back down to earth. The Westwood Panthers fell 12-7 to the Sebastian River Sharks on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Westwood got a good showing from Sam Whittaker, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Whittaker has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
