Baseball Recap: Centennial Victorious

Centennial posted their closest victory since March 7, 2025 on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Page Pirates 8-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Centennial got a great performance from Andrew Lulkin as he tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off one hit.

At the plate, Jack Greene was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Rylan Efron also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Centennial's record now sits at 6-11-1. As for Page, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Treasure Coast at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Page, they will welcome Grimsley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Whirlies have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
