Basketball Recap: North Pole Comes Up Short

After flying high against Delta last Tuesday, North Pole came back down to earth. The North Pole Patriots took a blow against the Lathrop Malemutes on Tuesday, falling 78-44. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-50 on January 10th.

North Pole's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lathrop, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

North Pole will be taking part in a tournament against Nome-Beltz at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nome-Beltz will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something North Pole surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lathrop, they will take on North Pole at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
