Volleyball Recap: Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Claysburg-Kimmel

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy walked away with it. They had just enough and edged out the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the WolfPack have posted since September 2nd.

Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 20-25, 25-17, 25-17, 17-15.

Despite the defeat, Claysburg-Kimmel saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kaitlyn Mortimore had 22 digs and four aces. Mortimore has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last seven times she's played. Lauren Imler was another key player, getting ten assists and eight digs.
