Basketball Recap: Honey Grove Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Honey Grove, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They secured a 30-26 W over the Sam Rayburn Rebels on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Honey Grove's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Sam Rayburn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Honey Grove will take on Wolfe City in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sam Rayburn and Celeste will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Celeste will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Sam Rayburn surely won't give up without a fight.
