For the second straight game, Connellsville will face off against Bethel Park. The Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Black Hawks at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Connellsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Connellsville needed a bit of extra time to put away Bethel Park. They skirted past the Black Hawks 6-5.

Kendal King spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on 11 hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, Maggie Orndorff and Cali Leichliter did most of the damage at the plate: Orndorff went 2-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Leichliter went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that Orndorff has hit this season. Kalyn Cole was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Connellsville's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bethel Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
