It's playoff time, and Benton Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Southwood Knights 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Bison, who have now won 13 matches in a row.

Benton Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Widmer, who had 33 digs and two aces. Those 33 digs gave Widmer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Minniear, who had seven digs and three aces.

Benton Central's record is now 26-5. As for Southwood, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 30-4.

Benton Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against South Adams on the 1st. Southwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
