Basketball Recap: Fannindel Comes Up Short

Fannindel lost against Wolfe City back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fannindel Falcons came up short against the Wolfe City Wolves, falling 57-31. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Fannindel lost, don't look at Terren Judkins. Despite the final result, he went 5 for 11 on his way to 13 points and four steals. Judkins has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marquis Gunn, who posted eight points.

It was another big night for Noah Adams, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 boards for Wolfe City. Rustic McElwrath was another key player, putting up 11 points along with six assists and four steals.

Fannindel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Wolfe City, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Fannindel didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 78-41 loss against Cumby on the 13th. As for Wolfe City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-40 win against Savoy on the 14th.
