Nuview Bridge can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Mustangs a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Johnny Aguiluz was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Nuview Bridge is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8-1 otherwise. Aguiluz was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Eric Rodriguez was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Ethen Rivera was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Nuview Bridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Nuview Bridge now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Nuview Bridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
