Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgetown). They never let the Sicily Island Tigers get on the board and left with a 25-0 victory on Thursday. While the Bulldogs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The win made it two in a row for Georgetown and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sicily Island, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Georgetown has already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against Glenmora on the 14th. As for Sicily Island, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 19-0 defeat against Rapides on the 14th.
