On Thursday, Masterman came up short against Prep Charter and fell 47-38.

Meanwhile, Motivation earned a 53-46 victory over Mariana Bracetti Academy on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

Motivation is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points per game. As for Masterman, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Everything went Masterman's way against Motivation in their previous matchup back in January of 2020, as Masterman made off with a 71-46 win. Will Masterman repeat their success, or does Motivation have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
