Basketball Recap: Billings Comes Up Short

Billings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Taloga Panthers 54-11. The Bulldogs lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 2-0 score last time.

Billings' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6. As for Taloga, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Billings will challenge Cimarron at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. Taloga has already played their next game, a 37-33 win against Sweetwater on the 25th.
