Basketball Recap: Hollister Takes a Loss

Hollister and Mountain Grove squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hollister had to settle for second. They fell to the Mountain Grove Panthers 73-67. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Hollister's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Mountain Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mountain Grove beat Hollister by a score of 73-67 on Monday.
