Atlantic Christian has gone 8-1 against Pahokee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Sharks will look to defend their home court against the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Atlantic Christian lost 50-27 to Westminster Academy on Monday. The loss put an end to the Sharks' undefeated start to the season.

Despite the loss, Atlantic Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaidah Chase posted 15 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. Another player making a difference was Reehanna Hyppolite, who had four points.

Meanwhile, Pahokee had to start their season on the road last Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Glades Central, falling 37-12.

Having lost for the first time this season, Atlantic Christian fell to 2-1. As for Pahokee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Atlantic Christian strolled past Pahokee in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 58-41. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Blue Devils' Sa'Nya Flowers, who scored 21 points. Now that she won't be playing on Monday, will it be easier for the Sharks to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
