Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caldwell). Everything went their way against the River Pilots on Monday as they made off with a 17-7 win. The Redskins haven't had any issues with the Pilots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Caldwell pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for River, they moved to 7-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Caldwell didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 win against Buckeye Trail on the 22nd. As for River, they have also already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against Bellaire on the 22nd.
