Softball Recap: New Hope Find Success

New Hope won the last time they faced North Sand Mountain and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians walked away with an 8-3 victory over the Bison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Ella Baswell was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-1. Hayley Parker was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.

New Hope always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .520. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

New Hope's win bumped their record up to 11-18-1. As for North Sand Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-9.

Looking ahead, New Hope will challenge North Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Sand Mountain, they will take on Clements in a tournament on Friday.
