Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilton). They put the hurt on the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers with a sharp 15-1 win on Wednesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Lily Wang was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Wang was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Annie McMahon, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maeve Morash, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.
