Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bay Path RVT

Bay Path RVT won against Burncoat on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Minutemen had just enough and edged out the Hopedale Blue Raiders 6-4. The win was nothing new for the Minutemen as they're now sitting on three straight.

Dale Nussey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Aiden Fausek, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Bay Path RVT's record is now 15-4. As for Hopedale, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.

Coming up, Bay Path RVT will welcome Leicester at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hopedale, they are taking a road trip to square off against Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
