Cherry Hill East hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 3:45 p.m. The last three games Cherry Hill East has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Cole Haddock tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Cherry Hill East's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Austin Hanni, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those two hits gave Hanni a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Eastern earned a 7-2 win over Shawnee on Monday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Renegades recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cherry Hill East's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-7-2. As for Eastern, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
