Baseball Recap: Quakertown Panthers vs. New Hope-Solebury Lions

Quakertown put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the New Hope-Solebury Lions. The victory was familiar territory for Quakertown who now have three in a row.

Anthony Pellegrini looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Dan Qualteria was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last ten games he's played. Brady Martin was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Quakertown has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for New Hope-Solebury, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Quakertown will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Upper Dublin at 6:30 p.m. As for New Hope-Solebury, they will head out on the road to challenge William Tennent at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
