Volleyball Recap: Vandalia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Vandalia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Litchfield Purple Panthers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 28, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Vandalia was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Litchfield work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-16, 26-24.

Vandalia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-24-1. As for Litchfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Vandalia will take on St. Anthony at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Litchfield, they will face off against Carlinville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
