Bear River had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eden Cha paced Bear River's offense, picking up five kills. Cha got some help from Brooke Milligan and her ten assists. Cha was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bear River's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Bear River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Chico on the 6th. As for Lincoln, they will host Colfax at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Fighting Zebras' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
