Palma got themselves on the board against King City on Monday, but King City never followed suit. They snuck past the Mustangs with a 6-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-7 back in September.

Palma's defense made their presence known, laying out Katia Slama three times. Leading the way was Ana Rocha with two sacks.

Palma is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.4 points on average over those games. As for King City, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
