Softball Recap: Dos Pueblos Chargers vs. Buena Bulldogs
After losing to Buena the last time they met, Dos Pueblos decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Dos Pueblos Chargers put the hurt on the Buena Bulldogs with a sharp 7-1 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Chargers have won three matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Kaitlyn Ashby spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.
