After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northside, Veterans was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 44-39 win over the Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 50-47 win last Friday.

Despite the loss, Thomas County Central still got an impressive performance from Jaden Crews, who went 8-for-18 to rack up 18 points. Crews is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Chan Dunbar, who posted three points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Veterans is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-16 record this season. As for Thomas County Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.
