Soccer Recap: Herron Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Herron can now relate to. They came up short against the Roncalli Royals on Saturday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Herron's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Herron's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Roncalli, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-6-2.

Herron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roncalli, they will face off against Danville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roncalli will need to watch out since Danville have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches.
