Basketball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson was the 69-64 winner over Orland when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Anderson Cubs took a hard 51-36 fall against the Orland Trojans on Friday.

Anderson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Orland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Anderson and Lassen will meet on Tuesday for a tough Bear Battle. As for Orland, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Redding Christian at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Orland comes in on five and Redding Christian on three.
