Deer Valley is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out to take on the Westview Knights at 3:45 p.m.

On Friday, Deer Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Lakewood and fell 6-4.

Hunter Metz and Nate Gentz did some serious damage despite the final result: Metz went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI, while Gentz went 1-for-4 with one home run.
