St. Patrick won the last time they faced Carmel and things went their way on Friday too. The St. Patrick Shamrocks strolled past the Carmel Corsairs with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Corsairs are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Patrick is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
