Game recap: Rocklin High School Football Team defeats Roseville

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Logan Webb to Daniel Kniffin in the first quarter, Rocklin (Calif.) led 35-0 at the half.

The Thunder expanded their lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. Rocklin scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Webb to Kniffin.

Isaac Carrel played well for Roseville (Calif.). The junior running back ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to three on the year.

Coming into the game the Thunder had allowed 20.1 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Tigers above their season average of 10.3 points scored per game.



The Thunder got revenge for last year's 26-14 loss to Roseville with the victory.

In a Sierra Foothill game next week Rocklin (5-4) takes on Del Oro, and Roseville (1-8) will go up against Woodcreek also in a Sierra Foothill game.
