Softball Recap: Mascoma Comes Up Short

Mascoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Hopkinton Hawks. The Royals were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in May of 2016.

Mascoma's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hopkinton, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mascoma will take on Hillsboro-Deering at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hopkinton, they will be playing at home against Fall Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
