Softball Recap: Fort Thomas Beats Valley Union for Their Third Straight Win

Fort Thomas entered their tilt with Valley Union on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 13-12 W against the Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 26-22 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Sadie Harvey, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaysla Longstreet, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI.

Fort Thomas' record now sits at 8-12. As for Valley Union, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Fort Thomas will square off against Duncan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
