Baseball Recap: Euclid Comes Up Short

Lorain hit Euclid with a eight-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Titans, falling 10-1. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Euclid's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Lorain, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-6.

Coming up, Euclid will face off against Strongsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lorain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
