Southern Alamance extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 6-3. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cummings Cavaliers 57-24. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Southern Alamance to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Alexander, who rushed for 173 yards and three TDs on only nine carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Alexander a new career-high. Sincere Thompson was another key back, rushing for 160 yards and one score on only 14 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Southern Alamance was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 452 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive games.

Jakori McNair and Devin Witherspoon certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. McNair threw for 246 yards and one touchdown, while Witherspoon gained 108 total yards and two touchdowns. 83 of McNair's passing yards were hauled in by Jahsan Thompson.

Southern Alamance wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-7 victory against Western Alamance on the 31st. As for Cummings, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-0 win against Graham on the 31st.
