Basketball Recap: Carroll County Find Success

Carroll County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 53-47 victory over the Trimble County Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Carroll County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Trimble County, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Carroll County Panthers challenge the Henry County Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Henry County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Carroll County likes a good challenge. As for Trimble County, they will head out to face off against Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Eminence's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
