Colt Brown gave up the fewest hits he has since back in February on Tuesday. Fredericksburg had no answer to Brown as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Brown has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Brown's strong effort led Navarro over Fredericksburg and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are 8-2 against the Billies going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
