Game recap: Newport Harbor High School Football Team wins against Los Alamitos

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - After four lead changes, Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, Calif.) took the lead for the win when Cole Norris thew a touchdown to Garrett Hall with less than a minute remaining in the fifth quarter and held on to beat Los Alamitos (Calif.) 27-24 on Saturday.

The victory was a step in the right direction for the Sailors, who were coming off a 33-21 defeat at the hands of Mira Costa in its previous game. The loss comes after Los Alamitos defeated Damien 27-13 last week.

In a Sunset game next week Newport Harbor (3-3) takes on Edison, and Los Alamitos (5-1) will go up against Marina also in a Sunset game.
